I designed plans to rip out the grass and put in a small stone wall, patio seating, and low-maintenance plants. Brandon took those amateurish ideas of mine and created a wonderful suburban oasis for us to enjoy. Now, instead of uneven, perennially-dried out, boring turf we have a four-season, two-tier, water-wise landscape that I am SO stoked about.
Brandon sourced all the materials and did all the labor himself. He also installed a flagstone patio, a gravel path, and some stone steps built into the wall as an entryway from the street and converted our sprinkler system into drip. I appreciated that he kept the site neat (sweeping the sidewalk clean after each day's work) and that he sent me regular updates and requests for my input (what kind of plants -- from a list -- did I like/not like, for instance). He has a good sense of humor too and is nice to talk to!
